MEINL社のマザーシリーズであるByzanceシリーズのクラッシュシンバルです。

VintageシリーズはByzanceの中でも特にユニークなサウンドキャラクターのシンバルをラインナップしているシリーズで、伝統的なB20ブロンズ合金を用い、ハンドハンマー加工で仕上げられています。

Vintage Crashは上記の特徴に加え、ルックス/サウンド両面でユニークなサンドブラスト加工を施したクラッシュシンバルです。
薄手に作られており、プレイヤーの微細なスティックコントロールをも取りこぼさず、ドライかつアーシーなサウンドとして出力できる優秀なシンバルだと思います。
また、20 と比較的大径の為、じわりと広がり、空間に溶け込んでいく様に響くサウンドは少人数編成や、アンプラグドなアンサンブルでは大きな武器になると感じました。
